Product Overview

The ToursOnTheWeb application is a comprehensive yet easy-to-use Internet based Solution for the tourism Industry. It has been set-up as an 'easy installation' and does NOT require a lot of technical skills, special hardware or a huge budget. Note that the easiest solution is an application service whereas we take care of everything. You could be present on the web within one week! 

The application consists of a few logical components, whereas the need for any of these components can vary with your business size, needs and strategy. These components build a system that is very similar to your printed travel brochure except that is now available online and you don't have to ship it anywhere!

The following components / modules are currently available:

1. Catalogue of Products and Services

1. Tours and Activities with full itinerary, scheduling, supplements and pricing.
2. Hotel Accommodations and vacation homes with room types, room capacity/occupation, availability and seasonal pricing. Optional: in-house services.
3. Car, Boat and other Rentals with rental types, availability and pricing.
4. Packages consisting of Tours, Activities, Hotels and Rentals planned similar to tours with own pricing and availability.

1. Accept online bookings and inquiries.
2. Booking Tracking per Organisation/Staff member for commission purposes.
3. Accept online payment by credit card as well as offline payment (debit, cash, invoice).
4. Create invoices and vouchers in PDF or HTML-format (email attachments)

1. The possibility for On-The-Spot sales with tickets
2. In-house services (restaurant, tennis, excursions)
3. Guide/driver allocations and schedules
4. Profit calculations with cost and selling prices

1. Multiple organizations can logon to your site. Booking tracking occurs on Agent ID as well as Web Store. Calculate commissions per organization/staff member depending on organisation status (e.g. preferred Agents) and commission level per product.
2. Sales- and Web-Agents (incl. regional offices) can have a unique web store including individual presentation (custom colors, logos) and settings (search criteria, data filter).
3. Agents can deposit funds in an account and accept confirmed bookings as long as funds are available.

1. ToursOnTheWeb is 100% Internet based. You can access your data from anywhere, anytime.

2. We implemented the solution on a Microsoft Platform: Microsoft Information Services, Microsoft Active Server Pages, Microsoft SQL Server 2008. We do use JavaScript and Ajax-technology extensively to obtain the best and fastest user experience (Web 2.0).
