Featuring a real tropical rain forest, amazing wildlife and Maya ruins should be enough for most travelers. But Belize also boasts the 2nd largest reef in the world with perfect scuba diving and snorkeling, for example in the famous Blue Hole. Ambergris Caye is the largest island of Belize, approx. 40 km long and less than 2km wide. Although San Pedro Town (the only city) hosts many hotels, resorts and bars there are still nice white beaches to be found. It is great to learn how to diver here!
