Europe is called the "old" continent, even though civilisation actually started in Africa. The River Danube flows from Southern Germany to the Black Sea. It is not only a busy waterway between central and eastern Europe, but also a very romantic river taking you along cities like Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade and Bucharest.
