Israel is a Western country located in the Middle East, officially established 1947. On one hand there is innovation and tons of startups (Tel Aviv). On the other hand it has been the center of Jewish, Muslim and Christian religions, with celebrations and fights for the past almost 2000 years. Jesus Christ lived and died in cities like Bethlehem, Nazareth and Jerusalem. Jerusalem as capital is very much disputed between Israel and Palestina.
Palestinean Hamas attacked Israel from Gaza on 7-Oct-2023 and killed many citizens and foreigners. Now there is an active war between both countries. It is NOT safe to travel to Israel or Palestina till further notice.
