"Malaysia, truly Asian" is the national slogan. On the mainland you'll find the capital Kuala Lumpur (with Twin Towers), Melakka (with Dutch history) and famous tea fields (like the Cameron Highlands). On the East there is Sarawak (the Northern part of Borneo) where you can find exotic monkeys and apes (orang-utang = "person of the forest"). Malaysia is mostly a Muslim country with a large Chinese minority.

Langkawi is a district and an archipelago of islands in the Andaman Sea, some 30 km off the mainland coast of northwestern Malaysia. There are great resorts with beautiful beaches.
