Taiwan is a very modern country. Visit Metropolitan Taipei, hot springs, nature at the east coast and nice night markets around the country.

Taipei is the most important city of Taiwan - in any regards. The main attractions in the city are the hot pools in Beitou, Chiang Kai Check Memorial, Longshan temple and of course Taipei 101 (formerly the tallest building in the world). Don´t forget to shop or eat in the night markets...

Taiwan considers itself to be a democratic, independent country, while China sees Taiwan as a Chinese province. This has been and still is a dispute with lots of conflict potential.
