The United States is one of the most influential countries in the world in regards of politics, economy and military. The "American Dream", "The New World" and "Big Brother" all relate to the USA. There is a lot of natural beauty to be discovered, mostly but not solely located in National Parks (like Yellowstone and Grand Canyon). And of course there are the large Burgers and Soft Drinks that are typical for this part of the world.

Mexico
Mexico is the 3rd major country on the North-American continent and the only one where Spanish is the first language. Mexico-for-tourists is known for Maya ruins, beaches, excellent food, Mariachi music and great weather. Mexico city is one of the largest cities on the planet.

The US has changed in 2025. A cool wind is coming from Washington DC and seems to affect foreigners the most. Do consider this strong current that may blow you away before travelling there. A warmer breeze may return.
