"Malaysia, truly Asian" is the national slogan. On the mainland you'll find the capital Kuala Lumpur (with Twin Towers), Melakka (with Dutch history) and famous tea fields (like the Cameron Highlands). On the East there is Sarawak (the Northern part of Borneo) where you can find exotic monkeys and apes (orang-utang = "person of the forest"). Malaysia is mostly a Muslim country with a large Chinese minority.
Tioman Island is located at the east side of mainland Malaysia. It's touristic infra structure offers everything for a few nice days at the water, with hotels, restaurants and diving centers.
