Kirguistán
Kirguistán es un país sin salida al mar, montañoso y mayoritariamente musulmán en Asia Central. Ha estado bajo la influencia turca, mongola y rusa en el pasado, culturas que dejaron muchas huellas en la vida diaria. El pico Jengish Chokusu, con 7439 m, es el punto más alto y se considera el pico más septentrional de más de 7000 m del mundo.
