Kazajstán es uno de los países más grandes del mundo, en su mayoría asiático central y musulmán. Se compone de una gran cantidad de desiertos y llanuras, pero también de altas montañas en el sur, cerca de su antigua capital, Almaty. Debido a su ubicación, ha ocupado un lugar central en el comercio entre Oriente y Occidente.
Kirguistán
Kirguistán es un país sin salida al mar, montañoso y mayoritariamente musulmán en Asia Central. Ha estado bajo la influencia turca, mongola y rusa en el pasado, culturas que dejaron muchas huellas en la vida diaria. El pico Jengish Chokusu, con 7439 m, es el punto más alto y se considera el pico más septentrional de más de 7000 m del mundo.
