Les principales attractions touristiques sont la Grande Barrière de Corail (Cairns), la Great Ocean Road, Ayers Rock (Alice Springs), Sydney et toute la faune magnifique (en particulier les oiseaux et les reptiles). Melbourne est très sportive et la Tasmanie est fière d'avoir le "meilleur air". About UluruUluru (Ayers Rock) est un énorme monolyte. Seulement 10% est au-dessus du sol, le reste est en dessous. Le Rocher est sacré pour les premiers habitants de l'Australie - les aborigènes. Depuis octobre 2019, il n'est plus possible de monter au sommet.
