Le Bhoutan est un pays paisible, sûr et très amical de l'Himalaya oriental. Si vous êtes à la recherche de randonnées, de discothèques, de plages et de fêtes, vous vous êtes trompé de pays. Le Bhoutan est très calme, mais offre de magnifiques monastères, de superbes paysages et d'excellents (!) hôtels. Les gens aiment leur famille royale. TRADITION s'écrit en majuscules (par exemple vêtements). Mais c'est cher (200-250 USD par personne et par jour) et vous ne pouvez visiter que lors d'une visite (avec un opérateur local).

Paro (25)
Paro est l'endroit où la plupart des visiteurs entreront dans le Royaume du Bhoutan, car il abrite l'aéroport international. Pourtant, Paro est une petite ville avec quelques hôtels et la principale attraction touristique du Bhoutan : le monastère du Nid du Tigre - une randonnée facile.
Thimpu (25)
La capitale du Bhoutan (env. 80´000 habitants) est assez relaxante comme le reste du Bhoutan. Les principaux bâtiments gouvernementaux sont ici, partagés avec les monastères bouddhistes. Vous pouvez trouver des locaux pratiquant les sports nationaux du tir à l'arc (arc et flèche longue). Il y a de très bons hôtels, comme l'hôtel historique et le Taj - mais pas bon marché.
Punakha (23)
Punakha est l'un des dongs avec un magnifique "hôtel de ville / monastère" traditionnel.
Dochula Pass (22)
Le Dochu La Pass est un col de montagne dans l'Himalaya couvert de neige au Bhoutan sur la route de Thimphu à Punakha.
