Siem Reap est une destination touristique majeure en Asie du Sud-Est et ce pour une chose : le temple d'Angkor Vat. C'est impressionnant. Le temple était autrefois en mauvais état, à cause de l'érosion et des intempéries, mais a été reconstruit pièce par pièce par des archéologues français. Notez qu'il y a plus de temples à visiter, par exemple le temple des singes et le temple du Bayon. A proximité se trouve également un grand lac avec un village sur les limons.
