Luang Prabang (39)
Luang Prabang is a pleasant city at the Mekong river, with traditional Laos-style buildings ( Unesco-heritage). There are boat connections up-stream to Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Vientiane (29)
Vientiane is Laos´ capital, the most populated city and the location of the government, president and some temples. It is VERY relaxing here, certainly for a capital city. No traffic jams or line-ups anywhere.

Vang Vieng dulunya adalah kota tempat banyak orang Barat (khususnya kaum muda) datang ke pesta, namun setelah beberapa kecelakaan mematikan, pesta-pesta "jahat" itu tidak ada lagi. Masih banyak restoran dan toko wisata... Sungai masih sangat menarik untuk berkano dan menyenangkan untuk menyewa skuter dan menjelajahi daerah tersebut.
