Your journey will begin in Arusha, the capital of the Northern Safari Circuit, situated at the base of Mount Meru. Catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain peak in Africa standing at 5,895 meters tall, before you board your safari vehicle and pass through the traditional villages and beautiful plantations of the Masai Steppe. See the Great Migration come to life as millions of animals road through these lands in search of food and water. Set out to explore Lake Manyara, one of the oldest wildlife sanctuaries in Africa, where you may see giraffes, zebras, elephants, gazelles, hippos, monkeys, and about 400 species of birds within the grounds. From there you will travel to Serengeti National Park to head on exhilarating game drives in search of the Big Five. Your next stop will be in the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world. Search for jackals, serval cats, wild hunting dogs, and many more species of animals amid the plains, forests, swamps, and dunes before you travel to Tarangire National Park.
