ChengduChengdu is de hoofdstad van de provincie Sichuan, waar zeer pittig eten gebruikelijk is. Toeristen verblijven in Chengdu, een zogenaamde tuinstad, vooral om het wereldberoemde reuzenpandacentrum te bezoeken en als een gemakkelijk startpunt voor Leshan (de reuzenboeddha) en de berg Emei.
