VaranasiVaranasi (aka. Benares) is een van de oudste levende steden ter wereld! De stad is zeer levendig en het centrum van de hindoe-religie. Mensen komen hier om te bidden, zich te wassen in de rivier de Ganges en gecremeerd te worden. Voor toeristen is deze stad een hoogtepunt van elk bezoek aan India, maar toon alstublieft respect.
