NakuruLake Nakuru National Park is vooral bekend om zijn duizenden, soms miljoenen flamingo's die langs de oevers nestelen. Het kan echt het hele meer roze kleuren. De waterstanden varieerden echter van bijna opdrogen tot volledige overstromingen. Flamingo's kunnen op basis hiervan naar andere meren migreren.
