Krakau (38)
Krakau is de tweede grootste en een van de oudste steden van Polen. Aangehaald als een van Europa's mooiste steden, werd de oude binnenstad uitgeroepen tot UNESCO-werelderfgoed. De Wieliczka-zoutmijn is ook een hoogtepunt.

Het centrum van Wroclaw is absoluut prachtig, vooral rond Kerstmis. De stad heette oorspronkelijk Breslau, maar veranderde van naam na het einde van de 2e wereldoorlog (toen een deel van Duitsland Pools werd).
Gdansk (4)
Gdansk is een belangrijke haven- en bootreparatiestad in Polen. In de recente geschiedenis stond Gdansk bekend om de Poolse opstand die leidde tot het uiteenvallen van het Warschaupact en de USSR.
