SigiriyaSigiriya staat bekend om de gigantische rots met eeuwenoud beeldhouwwerk, de ingang van olifantenvoeten naar een eenvoudig toegankelijk pad en uiteindelijk de overblijfselen van een tempel bovenop de rots. Bij elk bezoek aan Sri Lanka moet deze heilige plaats worden bezocht. Maar het is heet daarbuiten, dus neem je zonnehoed en crème mee!
