Dubai has positioned itself as a commercial center for the Arab region and this thanks to its richness (oil) and its influential neighbours (e.g. Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi). Dubai offers tourists a lot of great architecture like the Burj al Arab and Atlantis hotels, duty free shopping in superb malls and the tallest building in the world: the Burj Khaliffa (named after the ruler of Abu Dhabi).
