About France
France is "La Grand Nation", Land of wine, Champagne, cheese and "joie de vivre". The whole country is interesting for tourists, whether it is the capital Paris with Eifeltower and Louvre, the Cote d´Azur and Mediteranean, the Provence or the Atlantic coastal areas. About Netherlands
The Netherlands are known for the extremely flat landscape. A large area of the country is below sea level. Being surrounded by the water resulted in Windmills, Dykes and the Technical miracle called the Delta Water Works. The Dutch are the tallest people in the world and known to be very "open". Paris is one of the first names when thinking of City of Light and Romance, but it is also the economical and cultural heart of France. You can find the Eiffeltower as well as the old and new Arc d´Triumph. It is easy to walk through the center for example to Sacre Coeur and the Moulin Rouge. Don´t forget the Notre Dame, the Louvres and a candle-light diner on the Seine.

Strasbourg is the capital of the Alsace region, located in France and bordering Germany. Strasbourg´s historical center is UNESO heritage since 1988. Strasbourg is also the seat of several European Institutions, including the Council of Europe.

Avignon is a city with medieval walls. In the 14th century it was the home of 7 Catholic Popes that gives it its nickname "City of Popes". It is located at the river Rhone, what makes it a destination for river cruises in the South-East of France.

Lyon is the 3rd largest city in France, where the rivers Rhone and Saone meet.

Nice is in the heart of the French Cote d´Azur and has a very, very pleasant climate, beach and atmosphere. Who does NOT want to live here? Many agree and this includes the rich and famous: absolutely gorgeous yachts and cars can be seen in Nice, Cannes and St. Tropez.
