About Mexico
Mexico is the 3rd major country on the North-American continent and the only one where Spanish is the first language. Mexico-for-tourists is known for Maya ruins, beaches, excellent food, Mariachi music and great weather. Mexico city is one of the largest cities on the planet.
About Guatemala
Guatemala is a poor country with many things to see and do. There are famous Maya-ruins near Tikal in the tropical forest. There is volcanic, picturesque Lake Atitlan with nearby Panajachel and Chichicastenango, where many locals sell their stuff on very colorful markets. Last but not least you can get 1:1 Spanish classes in the very beautiful and former capital, Antigua Guatemala.
