Suriname
Suriname is a tropical country dominated by rain forests. The people of Suriname are among the most diverse in the world, spanning a multitude of ethnic, religious, and linguistic group: a true melting pot of different people. Once Suriname was a Dutch colony, but it gained independent in 1975. The official language is still Dutch and there is lots of 17th century architecture in the capital Paramaribo.

French Guiana
French Guiana is a region in South America that is part of France. This nature covered country has less than 4 million inhabitants of which half live in the capital Cayenne. Key tourist attractions include the Guiana Space Centre (to launch European rockets into space), the historic Îles du Salut (Salvation Islands) and the vast Guiana Amazonian Park
