About Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is the island South-East of it's huge neighbour India, with a Sinhalese and Tamil population. Travel here is easy and comfortable. About India
India and China are the most populous countries on the planet. India is called "a continent by itself" even though it is part of Asia. It is very colorful with lots of traditions, festivities, sports (very British), dance, film and music (Bollywood!). Indian kitchen & cooking with curries, chapatis, vegies, chilis, etc is world-famous and delicious. Financial wealth is not spread evenly: a small percentage of the people is extremely rich, a middle class with good education is comparable to western standards and the majority is still very, very poor.
