Tajikistan
Tajikistan is a landlocked, islamic country in Central Asia with capital Dushanbe. For many years it was part of the Sovjet Union., but since 1994 an independent republic. It is a mountainous country. Tourists should visit the Pamir and Fann Mountains, which are known for high peaks and beautiful lakes.
