About Turkiye
Turkiye (Turkey) is a partly European, but mainly Asian country. The Bosporus divides the two continents and connects. Turkiye has great scenery (Capadocia), beaches (Riviera) and a very long history with Troj, Ephesus and the Ottoman Empire. Noah's Ark is supposed to be at Mount Ararat (5137m) in the East. Turkiye is very centrally located in the Middle East, close to the Arab World, Europe, Russia, Africa and the rest of Asia.

Turkmenistan is a land-locked country bordering the Caspian sea with Ashgabat as its capital. Turkmenistan has been widely criticized for human rights and not-so-free elections. It has a varied landscape with dry deserts and mountains. One tourist attraction is the Darvaza Gas Crater, that has been burning for decades.
