Unlike Denmark, the Faro Islands are not part of the European Union or NATO. It is a group of 18 islands, with population just over 50,000. It is small, with a rocky coastline and rough climate.
FinlandFinland is a large, modern country in Northern Europe. The spoken language is completely different from it's other Scandinavian neighbours with only Estonian and Hungarian being similar. There are very few cities, lots of trees and lakes and empty space. Helsinki is the official capital, but in winter Rovaniemi in the North is far more important for most tourists - with Sami, Reindeer, Northern Lights and Santa Claus. National sports in Finland: ice hockey, cross country ski and Sauna!
