About Faroe Islands
The Faroe Islands are not an independent country, but a Danish territory. Its closest neighbors are Scotland, Norway and Iceland. Unlike Denmark, the Faro Islands are not part of the European Union or NATO. It is a group of 18 islands, with population just over 50,000. It is small, with a rocky coastline and rough climate.
