The Indian sub-continent (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives) is the birthplace of Hinduism and Buddhism. It is also the home of some of the best (spicy) food, Yoga, Ayurveda, Saree dresses, Mahatma Gandhi and the Taj Mahal. It is easy to spend the greater part of a life time exploring this region.
