Tourists will want to visit for example the beautiful, one-of-a-kind Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Inle Lake, the 2500+ Pagodas in old Pagan and the Golden Rock.
Unfortunately the military has taken control of Myanmar again with a violent coup early 2021. Myanmar remains a very interesting country, but it may not be the safest at this moment.
