Turkiye
Turkiye (Turkey) is a partly European, but mainly Asian country. The Bosporus divides the two continents and connects. Turkiye has great scenery (Capadocia), beaches (Riviera) and a very long history with Troj, Ephesus and the Ottoman Empire. Noah's Ark is supposed to be at Mount Ararat (5137m) in the East. Turkiye is very centrally located in the Middle East, close to the Arab World, Europe, Russia, Africa and the rest of Asia.

Istanbul, Constantinople & Byzanthium... Three names for the same city is just one proof for the long history and diversity of this city-between-two-continents. Istanbul is one of the largest cities in the whole of Europe!

The Lion City is a modern city that functions very well. You can travel easily and affordably by MRT (train), bus or taxi. The tourist will enjoy Marina Bay, shopping @ Orchard Road, zoo and bird park as well as having the local favourite Chili Crab at one of the three quays...
