Canada
Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world (after Russia), but only counts 40 million people... Most of these people live just north of the US-border. The big three cities (Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver) plus the other major cities have close to 75% of the total population. In other words: the country is empty outside the major cities! In Quebec province French is the official language, anywhere else English will do.

Toronto, at Lake Ontario, is Canada´s largest city and economic power house. Toronto is home of the CN-tower, the Skydome and the Hockey hall of fame. Yonge Street, a street that was 1900 km long till 1999, starts here.

Washington DC is the capital of the USA and hosts for example the home of the president ("White House"), the Capitol and Lincoln Memorial. Outside of politics there is the excellent Smithsonian museum.
