Travel between China & Mongolia.

Visit destinations like Beijing, Xian, Great Wall of China (China) & Ulaanbaatar, Karakorum, Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park (Mongolia).

China
China and India are the most populous countries on the planet. Formerly communistic, China turned very capitalistic. This large country and great culture offers many superb touristy sites with the Great Wall (the only structure visible from the moon) being the most famous. Beijing, Shanghai, Guilin and Xian in particular are worth a visit. China has excellent, very fast trains and travel has become really easy. Hong Kong and Taiwan are listed separately.

Mongolia
Mongolia is a large, completely land-locked country between China and Russia. Very few people live here, the density is the least worldwide (besides Greenland or Antarctica). In fact there is only one significant city: Ulaanbaatar (formerly Ulan Bator). It is best known for Djengish Khan who conquered the world and made China build the Great Wall as protection. There is a lot of space, many horses, camels, falcons and yurts. It can be really cold here.
