The Godafoss, the waterfall of the Gods, is located just North of Akureyri,
Gullfoss means "Golden Waterfall" and it is indeed a great view. One of the nicest waterfalls in Iceland.

Þingvellir was the site of the annual parliament of Iceland from 930AD till in 1798 AD. It is really country site, part of the Golden Circle.
