Discover the real Cambodia on this 10 day cycling adventure that will see you pedal through some of the land's most rural and scenic landscapes. Starting off in the historic capital of Phnom Penh, we first pause to learn of the country's tragic history before embarking on bike to uncover the many varied and beautiful layers Cambodia has to offer. Cycling through the port town of Kampong Chhang and colonial Battambang, we also ride through remote villages, across gentle rivers and along quiet rural paths that dot the countryside. Expect to be warmly welcomed by the locals as we ride before ending our rewarding journey in Siem Reap to explore the magnificent Angkor Wat by bike!

  • * Cycle through Cambodia's rural villages and countryside * Discover Angkor Wat by bike * Visit the sobering Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Prison in Phnom Penh * Uncover the colonial charm of Battambang * Vibrant Siem Reap

    • All breakfasts and 1 dinner are included.Food is cheap in Cambodia and you can generally avoid the spicier food if you wish. Cambodia's food is all about the contrasts—sweet and bitter, salty and sour, fresh and cooked. It shares many dishes with its neighbours, and you'll find noodle soup similar to Vietnamese pho, Thailand's refreshing salads and sour soups, Indian-inspired curries, and noodles and stir fries handed down from years of Chinese migration. From Cambodia's days as a French Indochina colony, there's a national love of coffee, pate, and good bread. Baguettes are served with soup, made into sandwiches, and sold by men riding bicycles carrying baskets of long loaves. Western food is also available in most of the places visited. You may find it beneficial to bring some 'cycling snacks' with you from home if you have high energy bars or gels that you like to use during a ride. For those who wish to contribute, a kitty is normally arranged - fresh fruit will be provided along the way but most cycling groups find it very useful to contribute to a snack kitty for extra snacks, energy drinks and electrolytes. Whilst group sizes will vary, as a suggestion we suggest allowing from 10-15 USD per person if you wish to contribute to a snack kitty.Vegetarian food is widely available, however the offering will be fairly similar in most places. Please advise at time of booking if you have any dietary requirements.
