This 13-day small-group tour will guide you through the major sites of India and Sri Lanka. Prepare to be in awe of the extraordinary architecture and fascinating history of Delhi as you drive past the Red Fort, wander through the alleys of Chandni Chowk, visit the Raj Ghat, and see the Qutab Minar. From there you will travel to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and explore the Amber Fort in the Pink City of Jaipur before you catch your flight to Colombo. See the exotic wildlife and rich cultural heritage of Sri Lanka with a stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and visit the Dambulla Rock Temple, once treasured by many kings in history. Climb up the Sigiriya Fortress, a hilltop structure rising 200 meters above the rainforest. Discover the well-preserved ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa and see the Gal Viharaya along with the Statue of King Parakramabahu, the Lankathilake, and plenty of other fascinating attractions! Drive to Matale to discover Sri Lanka spices and visit Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lankan kings. Next, you will visit the Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya and Tea Plantation en-route to Nuwara Eliya, from where you will travel to Negombo and make your way to Colombo, where you will end your tour of India and Sri Lanka.
