Australia - Scotland
Australia is the country/continent "down-under". It is completely surrounded by water and - except for the coastal regions - a huge desert (Red Center). Main tourist attractions are the Great Barrier Reef (Cairns), the Great Ocean Road, Ayers Rock (Alice Springs), Sydney and all the magnificent wildlife (in particular birds and reptiles). Melbourne is very sport oriented and Tasmania is proud to have the "best air". Having a BBQ on the beach on Christmas day is normal in Australia, but quite special to most northern visitors.
About Scotland
The Scottish Highlands and Castles are featured in many movies. The monster of Loch Ness, Mac Beth and James Bond are famous citizens. Most tourists will visit Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Highland Games, watch big, red-haired (?) men in quilt play bagpipe and have a Scottish whisky.
