An Overlanding Expedition, especially in Africa, is a budget and adventure-oriented kind of travel. Usually anyone who is flexible enough and has energy can participate. You may travel by special truck or bus, sleep in tents with/without facilities and assist in cooking the meals. No fancy restaurants, no air-conditioning. It sounds romantic and fun, but is also basic.
