Bolivia is a very colorful South American country that will give you great experiences that will stay with you for a lifetime. The country can be split in two parts: the altiplano (Andes highland) and the selva (Amazon jungle). The differences in temperature, vegetation and living standards are enormous. Traditional Bolivians wear a great variety of hats and grow lots of different potatoes. In La Paz you may be walking slowly because of altitude. The Uyuni Salt Lake is one-of-a-kind.
SucreSucre is a beautiful, very pleasant city with nice white buildings in the eastern part of the country. It is the 2nd official capital of Bolivia. Even though you may feel right at home here, you should still be careful with ice creams.
