"Malaysia, truly Asian" is the national slogan. On the mainland you'll find the capital Kuala Lumpur (with Twin Towers), Melakka (with Dutch history) and famous tea fields (like the Cameron Highlands). On the East there is Sarawak (the Northern part of Borneo) where you can find exotic monkeys and apes (orang-utang = "person of the forest"). Malaysia is mostly a Muslim country with a large Chinese minority.

About Melaka
Melaka has a long and very interesting history, where it was part of the major trading route between Africa, India and Indonesia. Most tourist attractions are reminders of this rich past. The Dutch occupiers left some graves and the Stadthuys, both with "old Dutch" writings.
