"Malaysia, truly Asian" is the national slogan. On the mainland you'll find the capital Kuala Lumpur (with Twin Towers), Melakka (with Dutch history) and famous tea fields (like the Cameron Highlands). On the East there is Sarawak (the Northern part of Borneo) where you can find exotic monkeys and apes (orang-utang = "person of the forest"). Malaysia is mostly a Muslim country with a large Chinese minority.

About Brunei
Brunei is a small, rich country in the North of Borneo. Strict Sharia (Muslim) Law can be applied here. The right of non-Muslims to practice their faith is guaranteed, but things like Christmas decorations in public places are forbidden. Borneo has nature, but larger neighbour Malaysia / Sarawak and Indonesia have a lot more to offer.
