Does paradise exist? If yes, it should for sure look like the Maldives... There are more nice beaches around the world, but nothing comes close (except maybe Bora Bora). Perfect white sandy beaches, crystal clear water full of fish, turtles and coral, warm and unpolluted. What else can one wish for? But it does come at a price! Cheap hotel rooms do not exist.

Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is the island South-East of it's huge neighbour India, with a Sinhalese and Tamil population. Travel here is easy and comfortable. It is more like India-the-easy-way with it's own tourist attractions of course. Highlights will include Colombo the capital, Galle with Dutch history and Anuradhapura with Sigirya. Unique wildlife can be found in several protected national parks. The train ride Colombo - Kandi - Ella through the Nuwara Eliya tea fields is world famous.
