The real highlights are the old parts of the city (square) plus Patan, the great Buddhinath Stupa and the burning ghat.
Chitwan National Park has wildlife like Rhinoceros (and Tiger). You see the animals on the back of an elephant, to be safe and dry.
Pokhara is the starting point for treks in the Western Himalayas. It used to be small, but has grown significantly. Some wealthier Nepalese have settled here. A morning canoeing experience on the lake can be really beautiful, if weather and views on Annapurna and Machu Puchare mountains allow.
